Riding for sports, training or other recreational purposes is only allowed in designated special areas, tracks, in some cases – in quarries, etc. Such tracks must be legalized in the relevant territorial planning documents and marked.

In state, municipal and complex nature reserves, it is prohibited to drive off-road, build or otherwise operate self-propelled motor vehicles (including two-wheeled, three-wheeled and four-wheeled self-propelled vehicles). Drivers of vehicles may only drive on roads that meet the definition of a road specified in the Roads Law.
Drivers of quadricycles and motorcycles are subject to the same sanctions as drivers of other vehicles. In addition, drivers of quadricycles, like other motor vehicles, are subject not only to the Road Traffic Regulations, but also to the requirements set out in environmental laws - it is prohibited to drive and park on green lawns, park vehicles closer than 25 meters from a body of water, etc.

We remind you that it is prohibited:
- destroy landforms and natural elements of the hydrographic network;
- to drive through fords, along the bottom of surface water bodies;
- damage soil, vegetation and fauna;
- to destroy natural and cultural heritage sites;
- destroy or otherwise damage the authenticity and valuable properties of a cultural heritage object and its environment;
- to erode beaches, underwater shore, dune ridge, dunes, cliff slopes;
- etc.
