On June 21st the conference "Discover the Struve Geodetic Arc" was organized in Anykščiai.

Objectives of the conference:

  • Dissemination of information about the Struve Geodetic Arc;
  • Presentation of project no. LLI-477 "Creation of the international tourist route "Struve geodetic arc"" (STRUVE);
  • Summarize the results of the tourism campaign "Explore Struvė's geodesic arc!"

The main speakers were project partners and participants, organizers of the campaign, experts of the Struve geodetic arc.

The main audience of the conference was tourism organizers of local and regional authorities, representatives of Latvian and Lithuanian national institutions responsible for UNESCO, tourism agencies.
