One-day or two-day water route along the Šventoji River from Andrioniškis to Kavarskas.

The modern infrastructure of the Šventoji water tourism route provides the opportunity to combine various types of tourism and recreation: active, cognitive, wellness, historical and cultural tourism.

The route has 20 piers at campsites and tourist attractions, the distances to them and directions are indicated by arrows. The campsites have gazebos, bonfires, and toilets. The route can be completed in one day, but we suggest traveling for two days, because there are so many natural and cultural attractions in the Šventoji Valley that are suitable for visiting!

The beginning of the journey– Andrioniškis Bridge. While sailing to the city of Anykščiai (about 10 km), you will admire the views of the Šventoji old-fashioned hydrographic, Varias botanical and Elmė landscape reserves. After reaching the city of Anykščiai, you will sail to the dam.

After getting off at the dam, you can explore the nearby cultural treasures: the A. Baranauskas and A. Vienuolis-Žukauskas Memorial Museum, monumental compositions by these literary classics, the tallest twin tower in Lithuania.St. Matthew's Church(one of the towers has an observation deck, from which an impressive panorama of Anykščiai city opens) etc.

After crossing the dam, continue your swim.
