We will ride along a bicycle path and forest paths, where we will be accompanied by the wonderful Varius stream - a unique body of water whose water radiates copper shades. This name came from the color of the stream's water, but experts say that the name Vãrius may also be derived from the wordsto drive, worthy,to cook, or fromsprings, virulio– this may reflect both the origin of the river and its characteristic properties. So, no matter what the name of origin is – the water of the Copper River does indeed have a copper hue. And how do you imagine the color of copper?
Along the way, we will not only enjoy the beautiful nature, but also visit various "cousins" of Varius - charming corners of nature and protected areas. First, we will stop at the Varius Botanical and Hydrographic Reserves, where we will be able to admire various species of plants and animals, learn about the uniqueness of these ecosystems. It is here that the protected Varius outcrops are located - rocks that open into the stream valley and where we will be able to view the unique geological structure.
We will not miss the opportunity to visit the Pavarias Stone - a majestic stone covered in legends, which is given special significance by the local population. Nearby grows the oldest, most massive Pavarias linden, whose branches seem to reach the sky. On this route, we will not forget the Elmė six-stone oak, which fascinates with its strength and unusual tree structure.
The entire journey will be accompanied by stories and legends related to these areas, games and creative tasks. During them, we will learn not only the secrets of nature, but also acquire new skills that will further immerse us in the magic of the journey. And at the end, after an impressive hike, we will rest and regain our strength in a recreation center set up in the Pavariai Forest, where we will be able to enjoy the peace and beauty of nature.
